The group, a tribute to The Doors, recreates the look and sound of the classic rock band, from Jim Morrison’s leather outfits down to the color of the microphone cable. Double Vision takes its name from Foreigner’s same-titled 1978 album and single.
The band, consisting of New York City musicians, performs the music of rock band Foreigner. Mauch Chunk Opera House welcomes retro funk-soul band Hunkajunk, while Country Junction celebrates with a kids’ party.įor the 21-and-up crowd, Wind Creek Event Center and Mount Airy Casino Resort will ring in the new year with parties in the Bethlehem and Mount Pocono areas, respectively. Looking beyond Christmas, a number of outlets will host New Year’s Eve events. The annual “Messiah” Sing-In concert, meanwhile, will bring the community together at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, located in Shawnee-on-Delaware. Over in Easton, the State Theatre will host The Wizards of Winter’s rock opera “The Christmas Dream.” In terms of pre-Christmas diversions, Jimmy and The Parrots - a Jimmy Buffet tribute act - will bring its Parrot Holiday Party to Bethlehem’s Musikfest Café.
Holiday-oriented events will fill local and regional venues over the next couple of weeks, as 2023 makes way for the new year.
