The Director of the Genomics Research Core will oversee the day-to-day management of the Genomics Core facility and report to the Director of Research Cores in Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies (CBIS). The Director will coordinate closely with other offices at the Institute, including the Office of the Vice President of Research, the Office of the Provost, the Office of International Student Support and Services, as well as the Divisions of the Chief Information Office, Human Resources, and others as necessary.
The Director will also lead and coordinate education efforts across the Institute’s research enterprise. The Director, Export Control and Research Security will lead and coordinate efforts across the university to manage compliance with both the export and research security requirements, including development and updating of policies and procedures for compliance.
